CELPIP in Nigeria: test centres, fee and online coaching

Where can you take CELPIP in Nigeria?

CELPIP is offered in Nigeria. A CELTESTPIP guide checked in November 2026 lists seven test centres:

• Lagos: Dragnet Prometric Test Center (Victoria Island) and LASU CBT18 (Ojo)
• Abuja: Dragnet Test Center Abuja
• Ibadan: Edugrade Services
• Asaba: Initiative for Development Education and Learning
• Port Harcourt: Topscan Inspections Limited
• Kano: Edugrade Services

The same guide lists the CELPIP-General fee in Nigeria as ₦229,000.

CELPIP or IELTS from Nigeria?

Both are accepted for Canada PR. CELPIP may suit you if you type well, prefer recording your speaking answers rather than speaking to an examiner, and want a score that matches CLB levels directly. Read CELPIP vs IELTS for a side-by-side comparison.

CELPIP tips for Nigerian test takers

• Listen for Canadian accents. Recordings use Canadian speakers and everyday Canadian situations. Canadian news and podcasts help you adjust. See CELPIP listening tips for all 6 parts.
• Watch your tone in writing. Task 1 emails to a landlord or company need a polite, direct tone. See the Writing Task 1 guide.
• Practise to the clock. Speaking answers are 60 or 90 seconds. Use the free timed drill until filling the time feels natural.
• Aim above CLB 7 for Express Entry. CLB 9 in all four skills adds many more CRS points. See the score you need.
